Frequently Asked Questions
Leased Linen Program
Do homeowners need to get mattress pads & comforters?
Yes! Homeowners will want to provide their own mattress protectors and comforters, blankets, or duvets. You can send these to us to be wash and they are billed per item. These items should be sent in a separate bag from the sheets and towels and marked with a “specialty” tag which are located in our facility when they are dropped off. We will prioritize these items and they should be ready for pickup with 72 hours. We recommend having a few spares of each size to use while the others are being cleaned.
What if the sheets and towels are damaged?
We understand this occurs in rentals and we consider it normal wear & tear. You don’t need to worry about it! This is the advantage of leasing laundry and you don’t have to worry about making sure you have enough sheets & towels and paying to replace damaged or worn out items.
If an excessive amount of laundry is damaged by your guests (i.e. house party) we do ask that you work to collect a fine from the guest to reimburse us for the damages to help us keep our costs down for everyone.
Can we take us much laundry as we need?
Yes! We are here to make your laundry as easy as possible. We encourage having a small stock of clean laundry in a locked closet of your property to be used to replace dirty laundry after checkout to prevent multiple trips to the laundry facility.
When can we drop-off / pickup laundry?
In short: 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. You’ll be given a code to our facility to drop-off dirties and pickup clean laundry whenever you so choose. Do you like to clean 1am? Go for it!
Is dry cleaning and linen pressing available?
Not at this time, but perhaps in the future. The closest dry cleaner service is in Logan, UT.
How does billing work? How often?
Invoices are sent via email once a month in the first five days based on dirty laundry weighed in during the previous month. Invoices can be paid via a connected bank account (preferred) or via credit card (addition 3% processing fee applies.)
Is the cost really worth it?
Only you can decide that, but here are some example numbers that might help.
- After checkout a property that sleeps 25 people will have an average of 64 lbs of laundry to do.
- The average residential washer holds 16 lbs of laundry, which would be 4 or more washer loads & 4 or more dryer loads.
- The average washer cycle is 50 minutes and the average dryer cycle is 40 minutes.
- Doing just 4 loads would take 6 hours to wash & dry the laundry, plus the time to move the loads between machines and sort it after.
Instead of paying cleaners to sit around waiting for laundry to finish, let the cleaners clean, and let us do the laundry!
